The total cost of importing a dog from China has two parts: the breed price and the delivery + compliance cost. Knowing both up front prevents surprises.
1. Breed price (from China)
| Breed | From (USD) |
|---|---|
| Shih Tzu / Shar-Pei | $900 |
| Pekingese | $1,000 |
| Chinese Crested | $1,200 |
| Chow Chow | $1,500 |
| Chongqing Dog | $1,800 |
2. Compliance costs
- ISO microchip — included in our preparation
- Rabies vaccination + antibody titer test — typically $80–$200
- Health certificate and export permit — varies by destination country
3. Delivery (escort or cargo)
International flight-nanny or air-cargo delivery is quoted by destination city and breed size — usually the largest single line item. Small breeds to Korea, Japan or Singapore cost less to move than large breeds to the Middle East.
