Import guide
Importing a Dog from China to Singapore
How to import a puppy from China to Singapore: NParks/AVS licence, microchip, rabies titer test, quarantine and the best small breeds for HDB and condo living.
Singapore has strict but clear rules. Small Chinese breeds like Shih Tzu and Chinese Crested are ideal for HDB and condo living.
Requirements (NParks / Animal & Veterinary Service)
- ISO microchip
- At least two rabies vaccinations
- Rabies antibody titer test (≥0.5 IU/mL)
- AVS import licence and advance booking
- Quarantine on arrival (duration depends on country category)
Timeline
Because of the titer test and licensing, plan for 3–6 months. We map the full schedule before you reserve.
Breed notes
Singapore restricts certain breeds and sizes — small companion breeds are the safest choice. We confirm eligibility for your exact breed first.
